It was a great night of conversation! If you weren’t there or haven’t seen the episode — then you should. It’s one to check out. First and foremost, I must have been inspired by the conversation last week or so about the Wicked (musical) movie. ‘Cause I was green.
Anyway, I digress. Freddy and I discussed being the bonus parent in a family as well as being queer parents. It might include something that makes you feel cautious when you’re peeling back the onion when getting to know other parents and their families.
We also talked about Nex Benedict, a non-binary student in Oklahoma who was brutally assaulted by classmates, then suspended, had no medical attention, and then passed away. It’s getting international attention and folx want answers.
